Michael Annett: Chicagoland 300 advance

Sep 13, 2017

Michael Annett’s best finish in eight starts at Chicagoland Speedway is fifth, coming in the fall race in 2012. He has a total of three top-10 finishes there.
The No. 5 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet Camaro driver is currently 10th in series points, but 11th on the playoff grid. He has to outpoint Brendan Gaughan by one point to maintain 11th in the standings if there is a new NXS-eligible winner. If not, he has a 26-point lead over Dakoda Armstrong in 13th. Annett’s average finish in NXS races at Chicagoland is a solid 12.8. The Iowa native will be part of the NXS driver panel in the media center at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 15.-JR Motorsports
