  • HOW TO ENTER

The Game includes all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Races of the 2014 season (the “Season”), from the start of the first Race (as defined) below on February 23, 2014, through the conclusion of the Season. Registration for the Game will begin on January 31, 2014 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and end on November 16, 2014, five (5) minutes prior to the start of the last Race (the “Game Period”). Access the Game website at http://fantasygames.nascar.com/streak (the “Website”) and follow the How to Play Instructions to register for the Game. Limit one (1) registration/authorized account per person/e-mail address. Each account may have up to three (3) entries in the Game. Each week, participants are invited to predict one (1) driver to finish among the top 10 finishers of that week’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Race (a “Prediction”). Participants may select different Predictions per entry in accordance with the Game Rules. Each week’s Prediction will be accepted until approximately five (5) minutes before the official green flag start time of that week’s Race (the “Deadline”), which will be posted on the Website. Participants can enter/submit a Prediction at any time during the Game Period, beginning approximately ten (10) days before the first Race. Participants may change their Prediction as often as they like during the week until the Deadline, however, your Prediction as it exists at the Deadline will be considered your Prediction for that week’s Race. The server on which the Website is hosted shall be the official time clock for the Game. All entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of registration. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) who is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any participant who attempts to create additional accounts using multiple email addresses or under multiple identities, or uses any other device to enter more than one Prediction per week may be disqualified as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Limit one (1) Prediction per entry per week during the Game Period. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. False or deceptive entries or acts will render all of that participant’s entries ineligible in Sponsor’s sole discretion. You must submit a separate Prediction each week. Predictions do not carry over from Race to Race. If you fail to log in and submit a Prediction for a particular Race, your Streak will end and you will revert to zero (0) Streak Bonus Points. If you are in an active Streak, you may not select any of the drivers you have previously submitted in your Streak for your Prediction. If your Streak is broken, you may then select from among all drivers to submit your next Prediction.

  • SCORING

For each Race in which a participant correctly predicts a top-10 finisher, participant will earn points equal to that driver's actual Sprint Cup points (the “Sprint Cup Points”). If you correctly predict a top-10 finisher in the next Race, you have a streak of one and you gain ten (10) additional points. Participant will earn an additional ten (10) points multiplied by the number of weeks in the duration of participant’s streak (the “Bonus Points”). If for example, any participant makes a correct prediction in the first week of the Game Period, that participant will receive the actual number of Sprint Cup Points awarded to the selected driver for that week. If the participant makes a correct prediction in the next week, for that second week he or she will receive the actual number of Sprint Cup Points awarded to the driver for that week, plus ten (10) Bonus Points – ten (10) points, multiplied by the streak of one (1). If the participant makes a correct prediction in the third week, he or she will receive the actual number of Sprint Cup Points awarded to the driver for that week, plus twenty (20) Bonus Points – ten (10) points, multiplied by the streak of two (2). This formula will continue until that participant’s streak is broken by an inaccurate prediction. Sprint Cup Points and Bonus Points are, collectively, the “Points”. Each week’s Points will be added to the participant’s cumulative total for so long as the participant’s “Streak” continues (“Overall Points”). Streaks and Overall Points continue across Segments, but Segment points will be reset to zero (0) at the start of the 2nd and 3rd Segments. The Segments are used to determine the Segment Prize winners and for purposes of the Defy My Pick option described below. Segment Points are the cumulative total of points earned within the Segment.

This Game will utilize the final “Race Results” scoring for all drivers on the NASCAR.com website for scoring. In the event of penalty points assessed to a driver, the scoring for this Game will only reflect the penalty points if the penalty is announced by 5pm ET on the Tuesday following the Race and the official “Race Results” on the NASCAR.com page are changed to reflect this penalty. Any penalties assessed that aren't reflected in Race Results or are made after 5pm ET on the Tuesday following the Race will not be assessed against a Game participant for purposes of this Game. Any penalties announced that impact overall standings only and are not reflected in the official Race Results will not be used in this Game. Updating of scores on the fantasy site may take up to twenty-four (24) hours before they are reflected on the team boxscore or standings reports.

If a participant’s selected driver fails to finish in the top-10 in a particular Race, that participant’s “Streak” ends and that participant’s Points revert to zero, unless the participant uses the Defy My Pick option described below. If a selected driver does not start or finish a Race, such selected driver will be deemed not to have finished in the top- 10.

Each participant will have one chance to extend their streak given certain circumstances. The Defy My Pick option (“DEFY”) allows each participant one chance during each Segment to keep his or her streak alive if the selected driver finished in places 11-15. The DEFY option may only be used once per Segment and is only available if the driver is five or fewer places out of the top 10. The DEFY option keeps the participant's Streak alive, with any applicable Streak bonus points applied. Finishing position points earned will be based on actual finish. Once the DEFY option has been used, there will be no other opportunities to extend a participant’s streak during that Segment.

  • HOW TO WIN

    1. GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize (the “Grand Prize”) will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the highest number of Points following the final Race of the Game (the “Grand Prizewinner”). If there are multiple participants who tie for the most Points, then the tied participant who selected/predicted the highest number of first-place winning drivers throughout the Game Period will be selected as the Grand Prizewinner. In the event that a tie still remains, the Grand Prizewinner will be the tied participant with the earliest submission time for his/her Prediction for the final Race of the Season. If there is still a tie, the Grand Prizewinner will be the tied participant who submitted his/her entry/Prediction earlier for the previous Race. This process will continue until a Grand Prizewinner has been selected. The decisions of Sponsor and/or Game Administrator will be final and binding.

    2. SECOND PRIZE: One (1) second prize (the “Second Prize”) will be awarded to the eligible participant who correctly predicts at least one driver who finishes in the top ten (10) each week for the most consecutive weeks (the longest "Streak") as determined by the official results of NASCAR (the “Second Prizewinner”). If there are multiple participants who tie for the longest Streak, then the participant who has predicted the highest number of first-place winning drivers will be determined to be the Second Prizewinner. In the event that a tie still remains, the Second Prizewinner will be the tied participant with the earliest submission time for his/her Prediction for the final Race of the Season. If there is still a tie, the Second Prizewinner will be the tying participant who submitted his/her entry earlier for the previous Race. This process will continue until a Second Prizewinner has been selected. The decisions of Sponsor and/or Game Administrator will be final and binding.

    3. SEGMENT PRIZES: At the end of each of three (3) Segments, the participant with the most Points of all eligible participants playing the Game at the end of that Segment will be the winner of that Segment (“Segment Winner”). If there is a tie for any Segment Winner position, then the tied participant who earned the most Points in the last Race of the Segment will be determined to be the Segment Winner for that Segment. If, after that tie-breaking round, a tie still remains, the tied participant who earned the most Points in the second-to-last Race of the Segment will win. If a tie still exists, the tied participant who earned the most Points in the third-to-last Race of the Segment will be determined to be the Segment Winner. This process will continue until a Segment Winner is selected. If, after all tie-breaking rounds, a tie still remains, the Segment Prizewinner will be the tying participant who submitted his/her entry earlier for the previous Race.

    4. Grand Prizewinner, Second Prizewinner and each Segment Winner are, collectively, the “Winners”. Potential Winners will be determined on or about November 21, 2014. Prize Winners will be notified via e-mail at the email address listed on each Winner's registration form on or about November 25, 2014. Potential Winners must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) business days of receipt in order to claim prize. Potential Grand Prize Winner must also sign and return an IRS W-9 form to claim the prize. If any potential winner is under the age of majority in his or her state of residence, a parent or legal guardian must sign and return the affidavit and W-9 (if applicable) on the potential winner’s behalf in order to claim the prize. If an e-mail notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner (or parent or legal guardian) does not return the signed documentation to claim the prize within the designated time period, or if a potential winner is determined to be ineligible, or not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, then such potential winner will be disqualified, the prize forfeited, and an alternate winner selected and notified in accordance with these Official Rules.
